  2. This could apply to men also. I’ve traveled a lot. I think strangers bother you more when you’re traveling solo. I don’t mean somebody trying to be friendly. You’re an easier target when you’re alone. Unless it’s changed in the lasts few years, *Barcelona is crawling with aggressive pickpockets and other thieves, especially around Las Rambla and the subway.* I wouldn’t go there at all. Always wear a travel wallet or money belt under your clothes, plus a more accessible wallet with a small amount money in it. If a thief grabs the latter you won’t be out much. Your money belt is where you keep important things. RB
