How to plan & go on AMAZING vacations, guilt-free

Ramit Sethi of I Will Teach You To Be Rich picks up on a storyline from Tuesday’s episode. Jack and Christina were a perfect example of how not to travel – racking up credit card debt, booking late on a whim, and without emotional buy-in from one partner. In this deep dive episode, I go A to Z on how to plan, save, book, and enjoy vacation experiences the Rich Life way.

  1. So inspiring. I used to take big trips on a budget but with very little planning. They worked out really well but now Im saving for a 3 week trip to Mexico and I’m motivated to pt a bit more thought into it to really savour the anticipation side of it.

  2. I think this was an excellent guide for what to consider when traveling to new places. Unfortunately for me, even though I make twice the household income in my town and my mortgage is only $1,200 and no car payment, I am absolutely drowning in medical and student loan debt. I was able to take a trip to Hawaii because my bff moved there and I had a free place to stay. Just seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time was an experience I’ll never forget. I grew up with very little household income, so it doesn’t take much for me to have an immense appreciation for experience.

  3. Dave Ramsey says that I can’t take vacations if I have debt – you say that I still can. I knew there was a reason why I loved you. 😄❤ Haha, but in reality, there are many reasons why you’re awesome. This is just the cherry on top. 🍒

I swear your CSP template changed my life! And I don’t have high interest debt.. so I’m going to keep going on vacations! 🏝
